I didn't care much for cats. In fact I grew up in an anti cat house. My cat adventure started with Coatie, a purebred Balinese cat. I started dating a woman with whom Coatie lived. I really liked this woman so I figured I'd better get to like Coatie. She made it easy and I learned to love Coatie. Then this woman added Sammy. I was sunk. Sammy was the sweetest animal I'd ever met. I decided I had to have one. And that's how I became a cat person. And oh yeah, that woman and I were together for 17 years and she remains one of my best friends.
